What does GFNH classify as?

Clients ask this question all the time. There are so many different forms of training

  •  HIIT
  •  CrossFit 
  •  Bootcamp

We don’t classify as any of those. We are a strength and conditioning facility delivering functional training.

What is functional training? 

It’s exercise that translates into real life scenarios. The picture below is a Get Fit NH client dragging two kayaks up a hill after exiting a river. This is a perfect example of a farmer carry which we practice in group personal training regularly. 

  • Another client this year told me that she recognized deadlift form while lifting and wheeling a wheelbarrow. 
  • Another client noticed how much easier paddling on her paddle board what this year likely thanks to consistent rowing exercise, core and balance work.

Fat loss is a happy side effect of a consistent and challenging training program. The rewards of strength extend light years beyond the scale.
