A Show You Do Not Want To Miss

A new movie is about to have a run at the Red River Theatres in Concord. American Meat is about a pro-farmer look at chicken, cattle, and hog production. The movie is a documentary including the history of the industrial system, the feed lots and the confinement operations being used today, viewed through the eye of the farmers who live and work there.

The story then shifts to the Salatin family of Polyface Farm who have developed and alternative agricultural model. But could this model feed all of us?

This movie is brought to the Red River by Miles Smith Farm.
