Testimonial of a Life Time

Emails like this bring goosebumps to my arms.

There is so much more to a gym than just equipment.

There’s so much more to exercise than losing weight.

Learning to change the narrative you’ve created with your health is hard.

I have yet to meet one single person who is

  • “too far gone”
  • “too broken”
  • “too busy”

To take control. It’s a story we tell ourselves to satisfy the uncomfortable feelings we have around the process.

Thank you for this beautiful testimony. If we can create this feeling for others then we die happy.

If you need help changing the narrative around your health then please take a second to read these words. You are so capable.

Why Are We Pulling Sleds?

We have recently introduced sled pulls in our group training program. You may be wondering where they came from or why we are doing them. Here's a handful of reasons why we like em'

  • It is a simple exercise that anyone can do regardless of their fitness level or expertise. We can scale the intensity individually by adding or taking away plates.
  •  You can load this exercise with a lot of weight with minimal risk of injury to your body. Low risk, high reward. We are not working against gravity so your joints will appreciate that.
  • Great for improving strength and muscle in your legs without the added stress other exercises cause to your knees.
  • Improves aerobic endurance and conditioning

Let’s get those sleds moving! Check out this quick clip with Coach Dylan to learn more.

The Return of the 21 Day Detox

We are pulling this program from way deep in the Get Fit NH archives and putting it back into action! This is a fabulous program to help us  rid our bodies of all the “extras” we have been faced with this summer and hit the reset button. For 21 days we are going focus on whole foods and avoid all alcohol, added sugars, gluten and dairy.

We will use a private Facebook page as our main method of coaching. In that group we will share:

  • Recipes
  • Do’s and Don’ts
  • What you might be feeling
  • Problem solving
  • In a pinch ideas
  • Tips and tricks for planning and prepping

For our non Facebook community, we will send a weekly recap via email to keep you in the loop!

Expected Results:

  • Weight loss is a happy side effect, but not the overall goal of the 21 day detox
  • Improved sleep
  • Improved energy
  • Improved gut health
  • Decrease bloat
  • Increase awareness of sugar intake in common foods
  • Reset
  • Refocus
  • Clear up skin

The purpose of this program is to reset and refocus. This is not designed to be a long term plan. Once you are all signed up you will automatically receive your guide, the private Facebook link and the welcome email.

4 ways we can help you right now

Ever feel like you are in a vicious cycle of trying to grab the reigns on your health?

It can often feel:

  • Frustrating
  • Hopeless
  • Pointless

You often wonder how everyone else has it figured out while you sit there struggling.

I am going to let you in on a secret....no one has it all figured out and those who make it look effortless have two big reasons why...

  • Consistency. They keep showing up even when it feels like results are lagging. They show up even when life gets in the way over and over and over. They find a way. They don't quit when it gets hard.
  • Routine. Because they have been consistent, it has become part of their routine. It's in their calendar. It's in their morning routine. They block the time out and they show up.

There are a few reasons why Get Fit NH clients are successful in their journey toward health and fitness:

  • Accountability. I have yet to meet one single person who does not perform better with accountability.
  • Structure. We take the thinking out of what you should be doing at the gym and put it into a periodized program.
  • Coaching. The obvious one, right? Because when you're not sure where to go, we know where to lead you or at least where to start and how to progress or scale back. A coach will meet you where you're at and take from where you are today to where you're trying to go.

Struggling? So what can you do TODAY?

  • Ask for help! I am always interested in guiding you. Even if you're not a GFNH client and even if GFNH is not the answer for you! My mission is to find a way for you, not sell you.
  • Join us for a two week free trial and see if this is the answer for you!
  • Jump on a consult call and let's chat goals, strategies and organize your life!
  • Sign on for 8 weeks of pure coaching and accountability...even if that means you're training outside of GFNH! We will discuss your goals, your action steps and develop a plan to get you on the road to success

Don't stay in the cycle. You deserve better and you can absolutely do better.

Pop Up Workouts

We are toying around with a new opportunity for clients and our followers. This option is about as non-committal as it gets for you AND us.

We are going to pick 1 or 2 Saturday mornings per month and offer one big training.

Here are the deets and rules:

  • This will require signing up to reserve a spot.
  • The cost to attend will be $10. If you plan to pay on the day of then it will be $15.
  • We will require a minimum of 10 people to be signed up 24 hours BEFORE the scheduled class in order to run it. If we do not meet the threshold then you will be refunded.
  • We will contact you via text and email 24 hours before and confirm if the class is on or not.
  • This is open to the Get Fit NH clients as well as the general public. We encourage clients to bring a friend along.
  • This cannot count as a make up class for Get Fit NH clients. The cost is $10.
  • No shows will not be refunded or credited for future pop ups.
  • Each time you attend a pop up class we will ask you to put the name of a non-profit organization on a paper and stick it in a jar.
  • At the end of the year, we will draw a non profit organization from the jar and donate 20% of our profits from the pop up workouts.

Meet the Get Fit NH Unicorn

100.6 pounds down and counting....

Do you know how they say a picture is worth 1000 words? I gotta say, I couldn't agree more. Check this out...

Recently, we had a client cross the 100 pounds lost threshold.

How did she do it? Well, for starters, she is the most driven woman I have ever met. She is incredibly disciplined and motivated by results. This progress is almost unheard of in 24 months, but she did it!

This woman...

  • Attended more than 375 training sessions over a two-year span
  • Stays an extra 10-15 minutes and spins the finisher wheel after EVERY session
  • Comes in early
  • Weighs and scans every month and sets a goal that she crushes month after month
  • She is coachable
  • She TRUSTED the process...even when we told her to eat more
  • She never made one single excuse even though she is a single mom and works full time
  • She showed up and modified even when she had various aches and pains from a previous back surgery

I call her a Get Fit NH unicorn. I didn't think unicorns existed and then I met her. She inspires every person she encounters, including me. She is living proof that consistent effort and trusting the process lead to lasting and sustainable results.

I hope this story motivates you. I encourage you to send it to someone who may be feeling hopeless in their journey.

Get your first pull up!

We had TONS of clients complete our free pull up level 1 program. We loved seeing groups of clients hanging around before and after training to work on getting stronger and more confident on the bar.

Pull ups are EXTREMELY challenging and many people have a goal to get their first one. It won’t come without lots of practice. Doing the the occasional band assisted version is not enough to get there. We have to practice engaging the pats and getting stronger from the bottom to connect the dots

To those who have completed level 1, here’s level 2! Ask for your card in the gym! If you need another go at level 1 then do it! There’s no shame in doing level 1 over and over and over to get stronger on the bar!

You just gotta do it!

Overwhelmed with meal prep?

Meal prep doesn’t have to feel overwhelming

  • It doesn’t have to be chicken and broccoli to be healthy
  • It doesn’t have to take hours to create
  • It doesn’t have the be the exact same meal over and over

It might feel hard at first, but I find most people give up before it gets easy.

I have this stuff down to a science! This meal prep took 40 minutes and that includes clean up!

I have 7 more spots available to work with me one on one to get your mind right, your food under control and not feel deprived or defeated along the way.

I’m also offering consultations if you just need to talk it out and get organized with action steps!

Kettlebell Single Arm Clean Tips with Coach Dylan

1.) Twist the arm around the KB as you pull the weight up on your initial drive.

2) Keep the KB close to your body as you pull it up, don’t let it get out away from you. It’s not a bicep curl exercise.

Try implementing these tips next time and see if it helps!
